To upload videos to your product listings, you must first have an account with Amazon Brand Registry. This program helps sellers protect their intellectual property and access exclusive features like uploading videos. Once you’re enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, log into your Seller Central account. From the dashboard, select the “Inventory” tab and click on “Manage Inventory.” Here, you’ll see your product listings, where you can begin the process of adding videos.
Select the product listing where you want to upload your video. In your inventory list, click on the “Edit” button next to the selected product. This will take you to the product details page, where you can make changes, including uploading your video.
Scroll down to the “Videos” section on the product details page and click “Add Video.” Here, you’ll have the option to upload your video file directly. Ensure that your video meets Amazon’s requirements for format, size, and content. The file should be in .mp4 format, with a minimum resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and less than 5GB in size.
After uploading your video, you’ll need to provide a title and brief description. Be concise and descriptive, ensuring you highlight the key benefits of your product. Including relevant keywords in the title and description will help improve your video’s searchability on Amazon.
After filling in all the required information, click “Submit for Review.” Amazon will then review your video to verify it meets their guidelines, which can take a few hours up to a couple of days. Be patient, and you’ll receive a notification once your video is approved and live on your listing.
After your video goes live, track its performance using Amazon’s reporting tools. Monitor metrics such as view counts, engagement, and conversion rates to assess how well the video resonates with customers. Make necessary adjustments to ensure the best results.
